In connection with this year’s പ്രവേശനോത്സവം (Admission Festival) in Anganwadis across the state, members of Karunya Sangha Vedhi visited the newly enrolled little ones who arrived to mark their first steps into learning, celebrating the occasion with sweets. Retired teachers from the organization's education committee provided guidance and orientation to the children's parents. The Praveshanolsavam (പ്രവേശനോത്സവം) at the Koovapadam Anganwadi was inaugurated by the Division Councilor, Mrs. Aswathy Gireesh. ADS Chairperson Mrs. Laisa Pavithran presided over the function. During the event, Mrs. Nabiya, an ASHA worker recognized for her commendable and praiseworthy service, was honored.
Around ten members, including Kochi Karunya Sangha Vedhi General Secretary Mr. P. G. Lawrence and Vice President Mrs. T. P. Sophia, participated in the event. Karunya Sangha Vedhi turned the Praveshanolsavam into a joyful celebration for the newly admitted Anganwadi children. Mrs. Nabiya, along with Anganwadi teachers Mrs. Safiya P. M., A. S. Ambili, Shalini Kunjumon, Philomina Antony, and Anju A. H., spoke on the occasion. Members of Karunya Sangha Vedhi also visited various other Anganwadis in Panayappilly, Kochangadi, and Fort Kochi to distribute sweets and share the joy with the children.
