The Annual General Body Meeting of Karunya Sangha Vedi, Kochi an organization that has rendered remarkable services in the social, cultural, environmental, and palliative sectors of Kochi for the past 19 years, was held at the Koovapadam 8th Division ADS Hall. The meeting was presided over by the organization’s President, Mr. P. T. Boniface. Dr. Thomas Maliyekal, recipient of the 'Star of Italy' award, inaugurated the meeting. General Secretary Mr. P. G. Lawrence presented the annual activity report for the past year. Treasurer Mr. Sebastian Bernard submitted the annual income and expenditure accounts for the approval of the general body.

Subsequently, the convenors of the Palliative, Environmental, and Education committees—Mrs. Joyce Antony, Mr. P. K. Suresh, and Mrs. Lilly Antony, respectively—presented their various committee reports. Mr. K. J. Michael then presented the audit report for the past financial year.
