When they are healthy, every mother loves her children and family, dedicating her entire life to them. However, during times when they experience physical and mental frailties, some mothers find themselves isolated and helpless within their own families and society. To support the activities of the destitute home at Palluruthy Karunya Bhavan, which strives to embrace and care for these individuals, members of the Kochi Karunya Sangha Vedhi arrived at the center to spend time with the mothers, share a meal, and bring them joy by singing songs.
The meeting that followed was presided over by Karunya Sangha Vedhi President P. T. Boniface, while Rev. Father Noble delivered the introductory address. In his speech, Father Noble commended the organization's members for taking time out of their busy lives to visit these isolated mothers, be there for them, and spread love and happiness. Rev. Sister Superior Vibin also expressed her special gratitude to the members for frequently visiting the mothers at Karunya Bhavan and consistently providing them with necessary assistance. The event also featured speeches and participation from General Secretary P. G. Lawrence, Vice Presidents P. K. Natesan and Sophia T. P., Program Coordinator P. P. Jacob, Treasurer Sebastian Bernard, Palliative Committee Convenor Joyce Antony, Family Welfare Committee Convenor Chandini Ronald, as well as T. J. Jain, Shirley Peter, Jiji Jacob Mariamma, Antony Palluruthy, and James Panakathara.
